12 No New Things

Today is all about understanding upcycling. I don't have much to report today, honestly. I do have a background of upcycling, I suppose, because I was very much raised in a "make do or do without" family. Perhaps because my grandparents were immigrants on one side and poor on the other, my parents raised me to be frugally minded. I have expanded on that way of thinking as I've grown, I suppose, in that after all my dabbling in making do, I've discovered it's easier and more satisfying for me to simply do without. That's probably the minimalist in me coming out as well. So today is another easy day for me.
